Selecting A Battery Rack

Though there are several important factors to consider when selecting an appropriately sized battery rack, we’ve found that considering how the rack you choose will impact overall efficiency and productivity is the most important. A general rule of thumb is that the more stacking levels there are on any given rack, the more it will reduce productivity since the requirement of vertical lifting slows the storage/charging and/or retrieving process.

Of course, your options are entirely limited by the available ceiling height and size of the area you will be dedicating to your forklift battery maintenance equipment but it is always our recommendation to opt for a battery rack with as few levels as your space and storage needs will allow.
