Solus Group Announces November Sale on Beard and Hair Caps

November 9, 2015 — St. Louis, Missouri — Solus Group, a leading online warehouse equipment supplier, will celebrate the month of "Movember" by offering 15 percent off of all beard and hair restraints.

The promotion ties in with a popular movement to show support for men's health by growing a moustache during the month of November. The month of facial hair, sponsored by global charity The Movember Foundation, helps to raise funds to combat prostate cancer, testicular cancer, physical inactivity, and mental health issues common to men.

"Movember is a fun way to raise awareness for men's health," said Jennifer Taylor, Marketing Manager at Solus Group, "and given the increase in moustaches and beards, it seemed like the perfect time to run a sale on hair restraints."

The FDA requires hair restraints for staff who have contact with food, whether they work in a kitchen or an industrial food processing plant. Other industries, including electronics manufacturers and healthcare providers, may require hair restraints for certain employees as well.

Hair and beard nets prevent stray hairs from contaminating working materials. Given the participation rates for Movember, industries will need to stock lots of extra beard nets during that month. Since The Movember Foundation was formed in 2003, over 5 million people have signed up as supporters, which the Foundation calls "Mo Bros" and "Mo Sistas.”
