Solus Group Goes Green...In More Ways Than One

North America’s exclusive dealer of Simpro Bin Dumpers and other materials recovery equipment is back with a whole new look.

Jan. 30, 2020 — St. Louis, MO — Solus Group, a leading online supplier of material handling equipment for the recycling industry, continues to offer a wide range of ergonomic solutions. But they’ve been redecorating.

On January 22, 2020, the Solus Group website went offline for a day to complete a radical redesign. The site relaunched the next day with a branding change that better matches their role in the materials recovery industry. That’s right: The redesigned material handling store at solusgrp.com is now awash in green.

“Our goal is always to create a terrific user experience, so our customers can find what they need, get it shipped, and track their accounts as easily as possible,” said Jennifer Taylor, marketing manager at Solus Group. “That extends to the branding and the whole visual appeal of our estore.”

In addition to the redesign, you’ll find a new company slogan at the top of the homepage: “We lift, you dump™. Solutions for Handling Waste, Recycling & More.”

The slogan refers to Solus Group’s flagship product line, Simpro Bin Dumpers. Unlike competing container dumpers, Simpro’s material handling equipment keeps loads centered over the frame for greater stability.

“Our Bin Dumpers, pallet bins, and roll-out carts help people handle their used materials safely at every point in the waste stream,” Taylor said. “We’re proud of that mission and we wanted to put it front and center.”

While Solus Group is focused on improving ergonomics for recyclers, they still provide plenty of material handling solutions for other industries, Taylor said.

“We still sell forklift battery handling equipment. We still outfit warehouses and manufacturers,” she said. “But now that it’s 2020, we want to make sure people see our efforts in the materials recovery field, first and foremost.”
